Miguel de E., vecino de Tudela y originario del palacio de Eguaras, solicitó en el año de 1546 declaración de nobleza, obteniendo sentencia favorable. Dionisio de E., caballero aragonés, juró al Príncipe de España en 1646. En la ciudad de Tarazona (Zaragoza) moró una línea del mismo apellido, a la que pertenecía Gombal de E., natural de Tarazona, casado con doña Isabel Díez de Aux y Armendáriz, natural de Tafalla, y en ella procreó a Dionisio de E., natural de Tarazona, que casó con doña Juana de Beaumont y Navarra, natural de Mendinueta, naciendo de esta unión Dionisio Antonio de E. y Beaumont, natural de Tarazona y caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en la que ingresó el 7 de Enero de 1625. Por Real despacho de 31 de Julio de 1703 se concedió el título de Marqués de Eguaras a D. Francisco Antonio E. Beaumont.
