De dicha casa fué Martín Martínez de E., natural de Vergara, que casó con doña Magdalena Martínez de Gorostegui, de la misma naturaleza, y fueron padres de Martín Pérez de E. y Martínez, natural de Vergara, que en su esposa doña María Ana de Zúrpide, de igual naturaleza, tuvo a Andrés de E. y Zúrpide, natural de Vergara, caballero de Santiago, con fecha de 31 de Octubre de 1692, Secretario de Su Majestad y del Real Consejo de Indias. Contrajo matrimonio con doña María Jerónima de Santa Cruz y Malo, natural de Almazán (Soria), y de este enlace nació José Bernardo de E. y Santa Cruz, natural de Madrid y del mismo hábito de Santiago, que vistió el 23 de Julio de 1728. A la misma casa de Vergara perteneció Sebastián de E. Aristizábal, natural de Vergara, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Josefa Ruiz de Mecolalde, de la misma naturaleza, y fueron padres de Francisco de E. Aristizábal y Mecolalde, natural de Vergara, que casó con doña Francisca Antonia de Bazterrica, de igual naturaleza, y procrearon a Juan Bautista de E. y Aristizábal Bazterrica, natural de Vergara, esposo de doña Catalina de Jáuregui, natural de Isasondo, y ambos padres de Manuel de E.
