Nobility crown FalchiAncienne famille sarde, appartenant à la classe noble de la ville de Cagliari, qui passa pour résider en Toscane et, plus précisément, à Piombino, où elle jouissait d'importants postes militaires. Par ordre de Cosme III, du 14 janvier 1720, les Falchi furent qualifiés aux grands honneurs de Volterra ; le premier à en profiter fut le cavalier Diego, du cavalier Bartolomeo, des réformateurs en 1736. Ce Diego avait épousé Maria Lucrezia, fille d'Andrea Picchinesi, qui avec un codicille du 14 mars 1716 voulait que le mari de la fille ajoute le nom de famille de sa femme à la sienne, mais sans l'adoption des armoiries.
