Nobility crown FeliceAntica famiglia amalfitana, detta Felice, de Felice o più anticamente Fenice al cui patriziato era ascritta, la quale fu signora di molte terre, con i titoli di barone, conte, marchese e duca. Nel corso dei secoli, tal illustre casato, si divise in molti ramo, dei quali uno passò in Piemonte, un altro nell'Abruzzo, un terzo in Napoli, un quarto in Puglia ed un quinto in Francia, ove pose dimora in Annonay. Il ramo di Napoli, dopo la famosa peste del 1600, fuggì nelle campagne di Somma Vesuviana, ove acquistò immense tenute ed il palazzo del duca di Capracotta. Si divise anch'esso in quattro rami, dei quali due restarono nella città di Somma e due tornarono a Napoli, ove furono insigniti del titolo di marchese sul cognome.
