I Folco, casato d’antica schiatta, furono annoverati sin da remoti tempi tra le nobili famiglie ascritte al Consiglio della Serenissima. Ultimo a sedere in quel venerando consesso fu Francesco Folco di Lodovico, la cui nobiltà venne solennemente confermata per Sacra Risoluzione Austriaca in data primo marzo dell’anno del Signore 1820. Il sottoscritto ottenne il riconoscimento del titolo nobiliare per Decreto Ministeriale l’undici ottobre 1899: Lodovico, venuto alla luce in Padova il ventotto luglio 1851 e spentosi il dodici maggio 1914, figlio di Francesco e di Elisa Nicoletti, congiunto in sacro vincolo a Fiesso il dieci ottobre 1877 con Anna Maria Baldan Gambetto, dalla quale ebbe: a) Margherita, nata in Padova il sette dicembre 1878; b) Alberto, nato in Padova il ventitré luglio 1882.
