Da principio si disse "de Forensibus". Si trapiantò a Fano con un messer Cristoforo medico circa il 1400. Fu onorata della famigliarità dei Malatesta signori di Fano e venne ascritta alla Nobiltà fin dal 1439 nella persona di Gasparo di Cristoforo che fu aggregato al Nobile Consiglio Fanese.
