Antiguo linaje de Cataluña, al que perteneció uno de los antiguos Verrvesores. Tuvo casa solar en la villa de Capellades, del partido judicial de Igualada (Barcelona), y sepultura de familia en la iglesia del lugar de Vallbona, perteneciente al citado partido judicial de Igualada. También poseyó esta familia el castillo de Foxá, en el que construyó una capilla. Otra casa de F. hubo en el Rosellón. De la casa de Capellades fué Luis de F., que casó con doña Francisca de Balaguer, naciedo de esta unión Antonio de F, que sigue, y Teresa de F., mujer de José de Perpinyá y ambos padres de Antonio Perpinyá F., que en su esposa doña María de Vilossa, tuvo a José Antonio Perpinyá Villosa F., nacido en Bañolas (Gerona), el 4 de Septiembre de 1757 y caballero del Hábito de San Juan, en el Gran Priorato de Cataluña, en 1782. Antonio de F., casó con doña Victoria Mora y fueron padres de Antonio de F. Mora, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Catalina Guiu, naciendo de esta unión Bernarda de F. Guiu, bautizada en Capellades el 24 de Febrero de 1761 y señora del Hábito de San Juan en el Gran Priorato de Cataluña en 1775. A otra rama perteneció Vicente Domingo F. Boxadors (olim de Xammar), que casó con doña Josefa de Copons y procrearon a Juan Francisco de F. (olim de Xammar), esposo de doña Micaela Blay, y ambos padres de Antonio de Xammar, bautizado en Gerona el 7 de Septiembre de 1766 y fallecido el 8 de Enero de 1792. Fué caballero del Hábito de San Juan en el Gran Priorato de Cataluña. ...
