Sposò costui Maddalena di Luigi nobile Ratti e da questo matrimonio nacque in Trino l'8 febbraio 1859, Domenico, che fu consigliere di legazione onorario, deputato al Parlamento Nazionale per varie legislature, poi senatore del Regno, il quale in seguito a largizioni all'Ospedale Mauriziano di Torino venne creato conte con motu proprio del 29 dicembre 1887, e dopo altre largizioni marchese di Torre Rossano (podere nel territorio di Cherasco), con Regio Decreto del 10 agosto 1888, e successvie RR. LL. PP. del 18 febbraio 1892 per titoli e stemma.
