Don Cristóbal Freire casó con doña Hipólita Lazaña y fueron padres de Juan Bautista Freire Lazaña, doctor en ambos Derechos y natural de la ciudad de Valencia, donde casó con doña María Teresa Vergara, que le hizo padre del doctor en ambos Derechos Mateo Freire Vergara, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Marina Furio, en la que procreó a don Vicente Freire, abogado de los reales consejos, individuo del estado noble de la ciudad de Valencia, de donde fue natural y bautizado en la parroquia de San Esteban, quien de su esposa doña María de O'Sullivan, natural de Valladolid, tuvo estos hijos: Vicente Freire, primer jefe del cuerpo de administración civil; Manuel Freire, propietario de Valencia; Francisco Freire, empleado que fue de Hacienda pública en el puerto real de Manzanillo, de la isla de Cuba; doña Juana, esposa de don Ventura Martínez Rendón, abogado y propietario que fue de Madrid, y doña María de los Dolores Freire. Otra casa muy antigua. Apellido de origen portugués. Pasó a Galicia y desde tiempos remotos se unió al de Andrade. Una rama pasó a Canarias. Lorenzo Pérez F. fue hijo de Juan F. o Freile, y de su legítima esposa Leonor Pérez. Este linaje se estableció en Tenerife el año 1535 y procedía del lugar de San Gonzalo de Amarante en Portugal. Lorenzo contrajo matrimonio con Ana Márquez de la Mota, hija de Simón Marrero de la Mota y de su esposa Francisca Márquez. Simón Marrero de la Mota era sobrino carnal de María Marrero de la Mota, esposa de Juan Machado y de Juan Marrero de la Mota, casado con Ana Machado.
