Nobility crown FusiAntico ed assai illustre casato di Vigevano, propagatosi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia. L'origine di tal cognominizzazione, al dir di illustri genealogisti, andrebbe ricercata, direttamente o tramite ipocoristici, nell'aferesi di nomi longobardi latinizzati come "Agilulfus", "Pandulfus" o Aistulfus, dai quale si sarebbe originato il soprannome dialettale "Fus" e "Fusi"; tuttavia, è altrettanto possibile una derivazione dal nome longobardo "Fuso, Fusonis". In ogni modo, tal casato, al quale venne concesso il titolo di barone, con con lettere patenti 20 Ag. 1883, da Carlo-Alberto re di Sardegna, interinate dalla R. Camera dei conti 9 Sett. della stesso anno, in persona dell'avvocato Giovanni Antonio (nato Vigevano 9 maggio 1776; morto ivi 14 dicembre 1836), riformatore delle scuole di Vigevano, riconosciuto con Decreto Ministeriale del 16 luglio 1875, al figlio suo Giuseppe (nato Vigevano 10 novembre 1814), in ogni epoca, sempre riuscì a distinguersi, grazie agli elevati personaggi, a cui diede ...
