Não se sabe se foi seu descendente Nuno Martins G., fidalgo muito honrado e escuderio do Duque de Bragança, que serviu D. Afonso V, tanto contra Castela como nas guerras de África, quer por mar quer por terra, pelo que este príncipe lhe concedeu armas nova por Carta de 31-VIII-1475.
