Oriunda di Vercelli, poi in Torino. Si conserva memoria (anche notarile di acquisto 1640 e di costituzione di dote 1641. Vercelli) di un nobile Giovanni Matteo, figlio di Giovanni Maria, e di un suo fratello nobile Giovanni Pietro, canonico della cattedrale di Vercelli. Carlo Michele, figlio del suddetto Giovanni Matteo, fu prima ufficiale del soldo, poi commissario di guerra e, col fratello avvocato Giovanni Maria Francesco, consegnò in Vercelli l'arma gentilizia, come risulta da pergamena ufficiale in data 22 giugno 1689. Mentre Giovanni Maria Francesco si trasferì a Milano dove ebbe numerosa discendenza, il primogenito, rimasto a Vercelli, ebbe due figli di cui il secondo fu dottore in teologia, protonotario apostolico e conte palatino, ed il primo Giovanni Pietro (dec. 1733) fu pure commissario di guerra ed ebbe numerosi figli.
