Diego y Juan de L. hermanos, probaron su hidalguía ante la Justicia ordinaria de Tolosa, en 1679. Juan de L. era Arcabucero de Lizarza, en 1597. De una línea apellidada L. Babaza, procedió Mateo de L. Babaza, Señor de la casa solar de Babaza y vecino de Lizarza en 1580, que casó con doña Gracia de Alciturrieta y procrearon a Gaspar de L. Babaza y Alciturrieta, Señor de la casa de Babaza, que nació en 1588 y celebró su enlace con doña Graciana Aurquía de la que tuvo este hijo Ignacia de L. Babaza y Aurquía, nacido en 1642, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Catalina de L. Puzuaga, a la que hizo madre de Francisco de L. Babaza y L. Puzuaga, nacido en 1673, que tuvo por esposa a doña Graciosa de Arzadun Zuloaga. De esta unión nació Francisco de L. Babaza y Arzadun, que se unió en matrimonio con doña Juana de Olaechea y Ossambela, natural de Huici, y fueron padres de Francisco Ignacio de L. Babaza y Olaechea, nacido en 1741, que fué, como sus antepasados, Señor de la casa de Babaza, y casó con doña María Antonia Arzadun, nacida en Lizarza, en 1757. ...
