Cette maison a été admise aux honneurs de la Cour en 1785. L. de La Roque commence la filiation de cette famille à Aymar, petit-fils d'Antoine, qui fit ses preuves devant M. de Bezons et qui épousa Antoinette de Salemard, alias Sallmard, fille de Bertrand, chevalier de l'ordre du Roi, et de Catherine de Carency. Aimar, seigneur de La Condamine, fut déchargé des tailles de la Cour des aides de Paris, le 6 juillet 1518. M. Henri de Jouvencel, dans son ouvrage sur l'Assemblée de la Noblesse de la Sénéchaussée de Lyon en 1789, donne une généalogie de cette maison, dont il commence la filiation à Pierre de La Roue, qualifié noble et damoiseau en 1328. Il la termine à Claude-Marie-Madeleine-Scholastique, dernier marquis de Harenc de La Condamine, né le 5 août 1801, décédé à Paris, le 29 juin 1866, sans postérité de son mariage avec Mlle deVeyny d'Arbouze. André Harenc, écuyer, seigneur de La Condamine, décédé avant le 3 octobre 1690, l'un des cent gentilshommes de la maison du Roi, commandait Virieu et Annonay en 1574. Il fut confirmé dans sa noblesse par Jugement du commissaire des tailles, le 1er mars 1599. ...
