Tuvo su casa solar esta noble familia en la villa de Arévalo, del partido judicial de su nombre, en la provincia de Avila, y de ella procedió Juan H. de Alba, natural de Arévalo, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Catalina Montero, y fueron padres de Pedro H. de Alba y Montero, nacido en Arévalo el 2 de Mayo de 1689 y bautizado el 16 del mismo mes. El 30 de Mayo de 1714 casó en la misma villa de Arévalo con doña Gregoria Piral, natural de Arévalo (hija de Pedro Piral y de doña Gertrudis Francisco). Falleció doña Gregoria en la misma villa de su nacimiento el 1º de Diciembre de 1750, y su esposo, también en Arévalo, el 8 de Julio de 1770. Fueron sus hijos Pedro H. de Alba y Piral, que sigue, Luis H. de Alba y Piral, y María H. de Alba y Piral. Pedro H. de Alba y Piral, fué bautizado en Arévalo el 9 de Noviembre de 1718 y contrajo matrimonio en la misma villa el 11 de Enero de 1740 con doña Ana Alonso, nacida en Arévalo el 16 de Octubre de 1716 (hija de Manuel Alonso y de doña Manuela Carpizo, desposados en Arévalo el 24 de Enero de 1700, y nieta de Domingo Alonso y Osorio y de doña María de Dios y Muélledes, y de Juan Carpizo y de doña Ana Pérez). Este Pedro H. de Alba y Piral consta empadronado por el estado noble de la villa de Arévalo en 1740. Después de varios años de matrimonio se trasladó con su familia a la villa de Alcalá la Real, en la provincia de Jaén, donde testó el 15 de Diciembre de 1773. ...
