Nobility crown HeviaIlustre casa asturiana, cuyo origen y antigüedad es tradiciónque dimana de uno de aquellos héroes que acompañaron al Rey don Pelayo en sus primeras conquistas. Dicho progenitor, según la misma tradición, defendió contra los moros el paso del río Hevia, uno de los que circundan la montaña del Auseba, sobre la que se asienta Covadonga, y por este hecho sus descendientes comenzaron a llamarse H., nombre que comunicaron a un lugar que fundaron y que hoy pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Siero, en el partido judicial del mismo nombre. En tiempos del Rey don Alonso VII, fué muy señalado caballero el Conde don Lope de Evia, quien después sirvió al Rey don Alonso VIII en el cerco de Zurita. Por sus hazañas le concedió este Monarca pendón y caldera, insignias de la dignidad de Ricohombre. También se halló en la batalla de las Navas de Tolosa. Nieta suya fué doña Constanza de H., mujer de Fernán Díaz Vigil. En tiempos del Rey don Ramiro II, era Obispo de Oviedo don Diego de H. También perteneció a esta casa doña María de H., esposa de Alonso Álvarez Villamil, Señor de la casa, torre y solar de Villamil. Otra dos casas del apellido H. hubo en Asturias una en la villa de Villaviciosa, del partido judicial de Oviedo con rama en esta ciudad, y otra en el lugar de Aceña. Esta era de armería. ...
