Juan I. de Povil y de Torres, fué también Ciudadano, Alcalde y Corregidor de Benisa y contrajo matrimonio con doña María Feliú y Feliú, naciendo de esta unión Mosén Juan I. de Povil y Feliú, presbítero; Pedro I. de Povil y Feliú, que sigue, y José I. de Povil y Feliú.
