Sus casas radicaron en los lugares de Azpilcueta y Urrasun, del valle del Baztán y partido judicial de Pamplona; en el de Uriz, del Ayuntamiento de Arce y partido judicial e Aoiz; en el valle de Salazar y en las villas de Unciti y Echalaz. del mismo partido judicial de Aoiz. En Guipúzcoa hubo otras casas de I. en las villas de Lazcano y de Oreja, del partido de Tolosa. En 1770, Francisco de I., natural de Pamplona, fué declarando noble por la Real Audiencia de dicha capital e unión de sus hijos Pedro, María, Josefa y Vicenta de I., como descendientes de la casa de este apellido en el valle de Salazar. De la casa del lugar de Azpilcueta, procedió Miguel de I., natural de Pamplona y vecino de Cádiz, que en 1779 fué reconocido en su nobleza por los Tibunales de Navarra. A la casa de I. del lugar de Uriz, pertenecieron Francisco y Manuel Esteban de I., hermanos, declarados asimismo nobles en 1776. Del lugar de Unciti procedió León de I., y Zunzagarren, vecino de Pamplona, también reconocido en su nobleza en 1560. De la casa de la villa de Echalaz fué Juan de I. natural de Echalaz que contrajo matrimonio con doña María Jacinta de Arístegui, de igual naturaleza, y fueron padres de Juan de I. y Arístegui, natural de Echalaz, que casó con doña María Rosa de Lanz, natural de Vera de Bidasoa (hija de Pedro Machinena de Lanza y de doña Graciana de Garmendia, ambos de Vera de Bidasoa.) naciendo de esa unión Martín de I. y Machinena de Lanza, natural de Vera de Bidasoa. ...
