D'après ce qui nous a été transmis, elle faisait partie de l'entourage des comtes de Henneberg, famille régnant sur plusieurs territoires du duché de Franconie. En particulier, les membres de cette famille reçurent la dignité de sénéchaux (« Truchsess ») du comté de Henneberg.
