Más tarde, sus caballeros residieron en la ciudad de Valencia. Ramón L., natural de Valencia y señor de Castalla, tuvo por esposa a doña Luisa Vique, de igual naturaleza, y en ella procreó a Baltasar L. y Vique, natural de Valencia y señor de Castalla, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Francisca Hurtado de Mendoza y Mendoza, natural de Mondéjar, Guadalajara (hija de Luis Hurtado de Mendoza, marqués de Mondéjar, y de doña Catalina de Mendoza, ambos de Mondéjar), y tuvieron este hijo Ramón L. y Hurtado de Mendoza, natural de Valencia, señor de Castalla y caballero de la Orden de Santiago, desde el 24 de mayo de 1586. Esta familia, que en algunos expedientes de pruebas de las Ordenes Militares correspondientes al siglo XVI, se la apellida Pallarés L., y en otros del siglo XVII, L. de Pallás, tuvo su casa solariega en la villa de Chelva (Valencia), y sus caballeros fueron primeros señores de Chelva, después vizcondes de Chelva y más tarde condes de Sinarcas, villa que pertenece al mismo partido judicial de Chelva. ...
