Nobility crown LagnoFamily originated by Mauro d'A. Count of the Amalfi Republic in the year 900. It was also called d'Alanea or d'Alagna. It is found feudal lord under Charles I of Anjou. This family owes its greatness to Alfonso of Aragon; who fell madly in love with Lucrezia d'A., a beautiful woman, so much as to want to divorce Queen Maria his wife, to marry her, which was denied him by Pope Pius II.
