Nobility crown LanfrediAncient and noble Italian family, originally from Tuscany but with branches also in Lombardy, Emilia and Lazio, of clear and ancestral virtues, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The clear nobility of this House is also confirmed by its presence in thet "Raccolta Ceramelli Papiani", a heraldic collection created over many years by Enrico Ceramelli Papiani (1896-1976), today preserved in the State Archive of Florence. The Lanfredi family had its cradle in the city of Florence, where it flourished nobly since the thirteenth century. However, contacts with the city of Lucca were constant. Bernardo Lanfredi was in fact chief magistrate of Lucca in 1276 and 1282; Giuntino Lanfredi, a poet in the early 14th century, lived in Lucca.
