Parmi les personnages dignes de mémoire et les plus célèbres de cette famille on cite Maurice, vivant en 1481, épouse Marie de Kercabin, dont Nicolas, procureur de Lannion, marié en 1513 à Catherine de Kermellec; Guillaume, vivant en 1543, époux de Marguerite Hémery, qui a continué la filiation. Un écuyer de la petite écurie du Roi, gouverneur de Lannion en 1660; un docteur en Sorbonne, aumônier du Roi, connu sous le nom de seigneur de Saint-André, l'un des fondateurs des missions étrangères mort en 1668; deux pages du Roi en 1720 et 1748. Les aînés de cette maison obligeaient leurs cadets à ajouter la brisure (c'est-à-dire un pièce ou meuble) aux armes pleines de l'auteur commun pour distinguer les divers rameaux sortis d'une même souche. En même temps que les armoiries se développaient, le nom de cette maison a commencé à être adopté par ses descendants, mais l'hérédité dans ce nom ne fut absolue qu'à la fin du XIIIème siècle.
