Nobility crown LeveroniAntica ed assai nobile famiglia piemontese, originaria della città di Fossano, conosciuta come Leveroni, Leverone o Levrone, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia e d'Europa, con insediamenti più cospicui in territorio francese. Il colonnello Orazio Leveroni, già governatore di Bene e di Busca, fece acquisto di due terzi dei feudi di Aisone, Vinadio e Ponte S. Bernardo e, nell'anno 1665, ottenne la dignità comitale. La stessa fu confermata a Gaspare Giacinto Leveroni, con l'aggiunta del feudo di Pietraporzio e di un terzo di quello di Sambuco, il 28 marzo 1672. Nel 1725 la famiglia Leveroni ha anche ricevuto l'investitura del titolo marchionale sopra Vinadio e Sambuco. D'altronde essa, nel dispiegarsi dei lustri, sempre si è distinta per aver dato i natali ad illustri personaggi.
