More specifically, a branch of the family, at the dawn of the tenth ninth century, moved to Austria, changing the old surname Lischewski in the current Lichtner. There, the family was titled Knight on July 25, 1861 and admitted to the Austrian nobility on December 15, 1876, with the predicate of Edle von Elbenthal.
