Oratore sforzesco presso il Sommo pontefice, giureconsulto collegiato, era figlio del Consigliere Ducale Alberto, discendente diretto da giovanni che nel tribunale di Arioaldo Messo Regio di re Enrico, giudice di Milano, era fra gli autori nobili. Il Giulini nota, sotto l'anno 1046 che da questo Giovanni, certamente discende da questa famiglia nella nostra città per ogni titolo ragguardevolissima. Abbiatico del suddetto Giovanni Battista fu Alessandro del collegio dei Giudici, Conti e cavalieri di Milano, creato da Sisto V Avvocato Consistoriale, da Gregorio XIV Uditore della S. Romana Rota, dal re di Spagna eletto R. avvocato presso la corte di Roma. Nel 1604 fu uno dei delegati per la Canonizzazione del Cardinale Carlo Borromeo. Morì in Roma nel 1606.
