Violante M., mulher do Infante D. Afonso, filho de D. Afonso III, Rei de Portugal. D. João M. foi Príncipe de Vilhena, adiantado-mor da fronteira, senhor de Escalona, Penafiel, Alarcon, Elche, Castelo de Garcia, Munhoz, Salmeron, Val de Olivas, Cuelhar, Almenara e outras grandes terras, adiantado-mor de Múrcia e um dos maiores Príncipes do seu tempo, pelo nascimento, grande poder, etc. Serviu de tutor a D. Afonso XI e foi mordomo-mor de D. Fernando IV. Recebeu-se com a Infante D. Costança de Aragão, falecida no ano de 1327, filha de D. Jaime II, Rei de Aragão, e de sua mulher, D.
