Antica casata milanese, avente per capostipite Nicola, bisavo di Gerolamo, presidente del Magistrato ordinario e di Diamante, senatore e storico (viv. 1534). Dal predetto Nicola per varie generazioni discende pure Carlo Filippo, notaio e causidico collegiato, padre di Giorgio, pure dottore e causidico collegiato, altro de' Consoli di Giustizia nel 1743. Fu figlio suo Stefano, assessore presso la Congregazione dello Stato, marito di Giuseppa De Cristofaris di don Giovani Battista. Da essi nacque altro Giorgio, che ottenne la conferma dell'antica nobiltà della famiglia sua con sovrana risoluzione 11 maggio 1828. Cesare, figlio di Cesare, otteneva pure la ricognizione della nobiltà con altra sovrana risoluzione del 1816 e Luigi, figlio di Giorgio Settimo, giureconsulto collegiato, ottenne pure la conferma predetta e quella del titolo di cavaliere aurato con sovrana risoluzione del 1816 e 1817.
