Nobility crown Martinoni CaleppioAncient and very noble family of Bergamo origin, flourishing in the 14th century in Riva di Solto, western shore of Lake Iseo, which had primary roles in city and provincial life. There, in 1350, Benedetto, father of Antonio and ancestor of Zovanello, who had already died in 1431, flourished. The son of these Bertolini was the father of another Zovanello, who already died in 1501, who in turn had a son: Andrea, which is the common progenitor of the two branches which subsequently prospered between Bergamo and Riva di Solto. Thus at the beginning of the XVIII century the firstborn branch became extinct. The other branch, still flourishing, originated from Giorgio, Marco's brother and Andrea's son. Giorgio had a son named Andrea who was the father of Gio. Giorgio (1600 m), and ancestor of Giacomo (n. Around 1574 and 1661 m). The family continued to have their residence in Rivo di Solto, until Francesco di Giacomo (n. 1610, m. 1689), while instead his son Gio. Giorgio (1666.1743), at the end of the seventeenth century moved to Brescia. There Gio. Giorgio married Maria Giovanna Cittadini, also from a Bergamo family residing in Brescia, and traded there. The family continued with Francesco (1711 - 1762) ...
