Decorated in 1580 in the Royal Familiarity, on 5 May 1725 it was awarded the title of Marquis of Capograssi in the person of Pietro Paolo Mastellone, a title recognized with R.Decreto 5 January 1859 in favor of Nicola Maria Mastellone, father of the living Marquis Michelangelo. In 1733, she was also awarded the title of Duke of Limatola in the second-born branch, then passed by female succession to the Lottieri d'Aquino family; title refuted by Tommaso Lottieri d'Aquino to the Crown and reconceived with RD 17 July 1856 to his relative, Nicola.
