The clear nobility of this House is also confirmed by its presence in the fundamental heraldic work "Repertorio de blasones de la comunidad hispánica - letras M-N-Ñ-O-P-Q-R" by Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent (April 29, 1915 – December 21, 2005), the Chronicler King of Arms of the Kingdom of Spain. Legend has it that the Morado family is one of those that repopulated the city of Estella, at the end of the XII century. Another family branch had instead its cradle in the province of La Coruña, where it appears since 1404, that is, when a "Gonzalo do Morado" appears in a document.
