Un souvenir particulier doit être rendu au jeune ingénieur Ugo, lieutenant aviateur, qui, après avoir donné d'innombrables preuves de bravoure, perdit la vie au combat aérien à Valsugana le 3 juillet 1916 et fut décoré, en mémoire, d'une médaille d'or pour l'armée valeur. Le geste héroïque a été illustré aux troupes, avec une reconstitution émouvante, par Gabriele d'Annunzio.
