Muy antiguo es el apellido O. en Valencia. Mosén Jaime Febrer cita a Rodrigo O., que sirvió a don Jaime I de Aragón en al conquista del reino de Valencia, y del que refiere que, capitaneando la gente de Teruel, estuvo en la rendición del castillo de Arés (Castellón de la Plana) y en el sitio de la villa de Burriana, de la misma provincia, siendo nombrado allí por le rey maestre de campo. De Burriana pasó al Puig y a Valencia. Murió en Almoradí, villa de la provincia de Alicante, con fama de soldado valeroso. Un hijo suyo fue hecho cautivo en la ciudad de Granada. Martín de Viciana, en la Segunda parte de la Crónica de Valencia, cita a varios individuos de esta familia O. valenciana que residieron principalmente en la ciudad de Valencia, en la villa de Torrente, de esa provincia, y en las ciudades de Elche y Novelda, de la provincia de Alicante, y afirma que todos ellos eran caballeros descendientes de antiguo linaje militar, según consta de legítima probanza hecha ante el juez ordinario de Elche el 28 de septiembre de 1416, siendo admitidos enel brazo militar en Cortes. Pasaron a Cataluña otras familias O. originarias de Aragón y Castilla. Una de ellas tuvo casa en Barcelona, de la que se derivó una línea apellidada O. Repiso, y a la que perteneció Nicolás O. Repiso y Galván, marido de doña Jacinta de Castilla, de la que tuvo a Antonio O. Repiso de Castilla, que casó con doña Juana de Castilla, naciendo de esa unión María Araceli O. Repiso. ...
