En la villa de Cegama, del partido judicial de Azpéitia (Guipúzcoa), tuvo casa solar este apellido. Diego de O., natural y vecino de Cegama, casó con doña María Andrés de Olarán, y fueron padres de Esteban de O., bautizado en Cegama el 11 de Enero de 1673, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Catalina de Tellería, naciendo de esta unión: Bartolomé de O. Tellería, que sigue, y Diego de O. Tellería, marido de doña Luisa de Lazcano, de la que tuvo este hijo Pedro Igancio de O. Lazcano, que probó su nobleza para establecerse en Zalduendo y casó con doña Antonia de Gorospe. Bartolomé de O. Tellería fué bautizado en Cegama el 19 de Noviembre de 1717 y se unió en matrimonio con doña Magdalena de Lasa, en la que procreó a Asensio de O., que también pasó a Zalduendo. Para que fuera reconocida su hidalguía en esta villa, incoó un expediente, alcanzando Real provisión el 4 de Julio de 1785. Otra casa muy antigua. Francisco de O. probó su hidalguía ante la Justicia ordinaria de Azpéitia, en 1733; Bartolomé de O., en Placencia, en 1743, y Felipe de O., en la misma villa, en 1761. ...
