Ein Francesco-Marcello, piemontesischer Konsul, gründete diese Adelsfamilie in der Toskana. Ein Giovan-Marcello-Sohn des vorherigen brachte sie nach Messina, als sie in den Dienst von König Karl III. Von Bourbon trat und dessen Waffenhauptmann er von Valdemone war. Er nahm die edle Maria-Vittoria Perini und Reitano von Messina von seiner Frau, von der er Francesco, den Waffenhauptmann, und Domenico, der mit einem im Januar 1807 verliehenen Senatorendiplom dem Adel von Messina angegliedert war, hatte.
