Nobility crown PiovaccariAntica ed illustre famiglia di Premilcuore, conosciuta come Piovacari o Piovaccari, di chiara ed avita virtù, passata a risiedere in Toscana anteriormente al XVIII secolo, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia, con maggiori insediamenti nella regione Veneto, e del Mondo, con nuclei più rilevanti nel Nord America. Con partito del 4 maggio 1847 la Magistratura civica di Cortona propose l'ascrizione al ceto nobile di quella città di Ambrogio, di Domenico, discendente da distinta e facoltosa famiglia di Premilcuore, provveditore della Camera di Soprintendenza Comunitativa di Arezzo, e poi segretario del Dipartimento di Finanze. Tale proposta trovò benevolo accoglimento nel sovrano rescritto del 27 maggio di detto anno. D'altronde la famiglia Piovaccari si era sempre distinta per l'elevatezza dei suoi esponenti, affermatisi tanto nelle professioni liberali quanto nelle carriere militari ed in quelle ecclesiastiche.
