Très illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: François, originaire de Parthenay, avocat au parlement de Paris, marié en 1548 à Madeleine Charles, aïeul de Charles, duc de la Meilleraye, maréchal et grand maître de l'artillerie de France, lieutenant-général en Bretagne, mort en 1663, dont les descendants par alliance avec une nièce du cardinal Mazarin prirent les nom et armes de Mazarin, et se sont fondus en 1733 dans les Durfort. Autre branche: Jean et Perrine Lambert, sa compagne; seigneur et dame de la Courtaudière, exempts de fouages, quoique partables, à la réformation de 1513; Jean, seigneur du Val, conseiller au parlement en 1582; André, fils du précédent, conseiller au parlement en 1602, père de Jean, président aux enquêtes en 1637 et chevalier de l'ordre; René, conseiller au parlement en 1653, épouse Anne-Marie du Han, dame de Crozon, dont: Anne-Marie, dame d'Artois et de Crozon, mariée en 1684 à Louis Rousselet, marquis de Chateaurenault, vice-amiral et maréchal de France. Les seigneurs du Boiscornillé et du Rocher-Pallet, paroisse d'Izé, déboutés à la réformation de 1668. ...
