Nobility crown PrandiTyrolean family, who obtained the nobility of the Holy Roman Empire by diploma of Ferdinand II, given in Vienna on January 16, 1626; this nobility was confirmed and extended to the rank of the Austrian nobility with the diploma of Emperor Ferdinand I, on November 21, 1839, with the addition of the predicate of Hulmhort. In 1842 the family was ascribed to the Tyrolese matriculation and with Short of April 20, 1847, of SS Pius IX, Supreme Pontiff, he had the title of Count of the Holy See (mpr.). He and his descendants made alliances with Calò, Bonomo, Coppo, Francol de Francolsperg, Saurer, Peckel de Ehrenlieb, Fecondo de Fruchtental, Stella etc. The family aggregated to the Triestine patrician in 1687 with the inscription of Prandino Ignazio in the city book, gave men of arms, magistrates and priests. Ferdinando Francesco (n. 1637 m. 1693) and Leonardo Giacomo (n. 1740 m. 1822) were officers in the imperial army. Ferdinando (n. 1660) was a priest, Ferdinando Felice (n. 1688) and Giusto (n. 1690) were parish priests. Bartolomeo (n.1625), Pietro Antonio (n.1631) and Bernardo Marco (n.1636) exercised the legal profession. Prandino (b. 1665) was also rector of Trieste. The descent of Bartolomeo (n. 1635) died out in Nicolò Giovanni in 1751. Giacomo Simone (n. 1811 dec. 1853), entered the service of the Pontiffs; in 1839 he obtained the confirmation of the Austrian nobility and the conferment of the predicate of Ulmhont; in 1842 the Tyrolese nobility and in 1847 the title of count by SS Pio IX. With a diploma dated 12 January 1926, all the noble titles of the Prandi were recognized by the Italian government. Currently this family is represented by the two brothers Gino Giacomo, n. in 1881, with his sons Bernardino and Leonardo, and Aldo Renato, n. 1890, with his sons Ferdinando and Luciana. ...
