Nobility crown RaimondaFamily from Mantua, and living in Verona around 1460, from which came Raimondo leader of armed men on horseback; Marcantonio and Claudio his nephews, both podesta of Verona, the first in 1587 and the other in 1629. Benedetto, nephew of Raimondo, in 1517, was ascribed to the noble Council of the city of Verona, to which the aforementioned Marcantonio belonged in 1576 and Claudio in 1627. Other Raimondi, of different origins, called Stradiotti, were in Verona, whose fathers were bellmen of the greatest tower, and by imperial order they were punished as rebels in 1510.
