Carece de fundamento la afirmación de los genealogistas que hacen descender a la familia R. de un caballero godo llamado Rique que militó en Asturias contra los moros en los comienzos de la Reconquista nada aportan que lo compruebe históricamente, ni cabe aceptar tan desnuda noticia de ese origen por los remotos tiempos a que se refiere.
