Nobility crown SagastiEn Guipúzcoa. Parece que su primitivo solar radicó en la villa de Hernani, del partido judicial de San Sebastián. También tuvo antiguas casas en la villa de Azpeitia y en la de Segura, del partido de Azpeitia. Ya en el año 1374 eran vecinos de Segura, Pedro Urtiz S. y su hijo Juan Pérez S. Don Pedro S., clérigo y vecino de Villarreal de Urretchu, localidad del partido de Vergara, compró la casa de Areizti de Susok, en Zumárraga, a don Martín de Areizti, también clérigo. Domingo, Pedro y Juan S., vecino de Azpeitia, hicieron información de su hidalguía en esta villa en 1557. Pasó el apellido a Álava y Navarra. En Álava creó casa en la villa de Contrasta, del partido judicial de Vitoria, de la que fué dueño Pedro S. Ruiz de Galarreta. Descendientes suyos pasaron a Navarra, estableciéndose en Pamplona. Y en el año 1804, Juan Miguel de S., su mujer Juana María Martínez, de la casa de este apellido en las villas navarras de Carcar y Andosilla, y sus hijos Antonio, Dionisio, Guillermo, Engracia, Víctor, Rita, Jerónimo, María y Baltasara, comparecieron ante los Tribunales de Pamplona, pidiendo que, como descendientes que era de solares nobles, fueran confirmados en su nobleza, lo que se mandó así. ...
