Hallamos una casa solar de este apellido en la villa de Jaurrieta, del partido judicial de Aoiz, cuyos individuos tuvieron el Señorio del lugar de Murillo de las Limas, del Ayuntamiento y partido de Tudela (Navarra). De este casa procedieron José y Ventura San Juan y Gil, hermanos y vecinos de Tudela, que en 1762 fueron reconocidos como nobles por la Real Audiencia de Pamplona. Otra casa navarra radicó en la villa de Unzué, del partido de Tafalla, y de ella procedieron José Miguel y Rafael Pedro de San Juan y Agreda, hijos de Pedro Miguel de San Juan, que ganó ejecutoria de hidalguía y fué asentada en los Libros Reales de la Cámara, a petición de sus hijos, en 1776. Otra radicó en el lugar de Barrieta, del Concejo de Sopuerta y partido de Valmaseda (Vizcaya), de la que descendieron los hermanos Juan Lorenzo y José Santos de San Juan y López Zorrilla, bautizados en Elciego (Álava), el 3 de Febrero de 1773, y el 8 de Noviembre de 1779, que el 24 de Diciembre de 1802 ganaron Real provisión de vizcainía en la Chancillería de Valladolid. ...
