Nobility crown SeixasFamília galega cujo solar é a Casa de Narla, junto da cidade de Lugo. Entrou na conquista de Sevilha e passou a Portugal no reinado de D. João I, na pessoa de Vasco Gomes de S., que veio com trinta lanças e alguns besteiros. Dele ficou geração que se desenvolveu, especialmente na Beira. Dos viscondes do Real Agrado: família descendente de Henrique de S., moço fidalgo, e de sua mulher D. Lucrécia de Sampaio, pais de Simão de S. e de Luís de S., fidalgo de cota d'armas. Simão de S., natural de Coimbra, foi casado com D. Ana Moreira de Castelo-Branco (filha de Francisco Moreira de Castelo-Branco, senhor de Vila Meã, e de sua mulher D. Antónia do Rego), de quem teve Manuel de S. Castelo-Branco, senhor do prazo de Beduído, que casou com D. Maria de Almeida. Deste casal foi bisneto António-Carlos de S. Castelo-Branco, senhor do dito prazo, cavaleiro da o. de Cristo e fidalgo cavaleiro da C. R., (alvará de 18.12.1745), por ter casado com D. Luísa-Bernarda Teles de Vasconcelos, açafata da Rainha D. Maria I, filha de Manuel de Lemos Pereira de Lacerda, 11º administrador do vínculo de Valle Formoso, moço fidalgo da C. R. (alvará de 8.6.1676), etc., e de sua mulher D. Maria-Micaela de Macedo, dona de Câmara da Rainha D. Maria Ana de Áustria. De António-Carlos de S. Castelo-Branco e de sua mulher foram filhos: D. Joana-Rita de Lacerda Castelo-Branco ,1ª baronesa em duas vidas (13.3.1805); Francisco-Xavier, que segue; Joaquim-Bernardo de S., f. s. g.; António-Luís. ...
