Nobility crown Serena Di LapigioAncient family that was believed to be originally from Rome, and of which there are memories in Montesantangelo and then moved to Foggia where it was counted among those noble families. It results from a diploma of Queen Giovanna II of Anjou that in 1417 she was already invested with the fief of Lapigio, in Comitatu Molisij, in the person of the soldier Francesco Sereno, born in the late 1300s, first owner of said fiefdom with dominion of vassals and with full jurisdiction. This Francesco is recognized as the progenitor of the family.
