Nobility crown StanizziAntica famiglia originaria da Milano, divisasi al principio del secolo XVI, come concordemente affermano gli scrittori, in tre rami. Il primo, decorato nel 1787 del titolo di conte col predicato di Blevio, s'estinse in Adolfo, deced. nel 1868. Il secondo, trasferitosi in Bari, fu insignito da Leone X del titolo di conte palatino in persona di Enrico, console generale dei Milanesi in Bari, morto nel 1534 in Trani senza lasciare discendenza. Il terzo pure passato nel 1534 in Bari, fu aggregato nel 1724 a quel patriziato ed in data 4 luglio 1791 venne riconosciuto dal Magistrato politico camerale dello Stato di Milano come appartenente all'antica famiglia di Lombardia. Ricevuto nell'Ordine di Malta nel 1791, diede fra gli altri Gabriele (n. 1764, deced. 1847), pervenuto, per il suo valore, al grado di maresciallo di campo e decorato di numerosi alti Ordini cavallereschi.
