Let's start with the one that comes from the famous Angelo Tartaglia Broglio da Lavello, known simply as Tartaglia (Lavello, 1370 – Aversa, October 1421), Italian nobleman, leader and captain of fortune, count of Toscanella and lord of Acquapendente, Canino, Civitella d'Agliano, Gradoli, Lavello, Marta, Montalto di Castro, Sipicciano, Sutri and Tarquinia. He was one of the most famous mercenary captains of his time and was hired by the Florentines, (1401) by the Sienese (1407), and by King Ladislao of Naples (1409), by Pope John XXIII (1414) and by Pope Martin V ( 1419).
