Nobility crown Venturi GinoriThe cav. Ippolito, of Senator Neri, by deed of 10 March 1792, adopted Cav. Pietro Colon, who married with the Marquis Paolo Garzoni from Lucca. Born from this union, Marianna, to whom her adopted ancestor, dying in 1817, left the greater part of her substances with the obligation to keep alive the surname of her house that came to go out with him. Marianna married the marquis Leopoldo Carlo Ginori Lisci; and came to death in 1862, it was found that by testament May 14, 1861 he had established his nephew ex filio Ippolito, of Lorenzo, with the burden of assuming for his first surname that V .: this was authorized by a judgment of the court of Florence of July 6, 1901. The family had given the Republic 21 priors and 5 gonfaloniers of justice; and 5 of its members had been called, during the Principality, to be part of the Forty-eight Senate.
