Nobility crown VignonFamille anoblie par lettres patentes de décembre 1616 et 1620, grâce à la protection du connétable de Lesdiguières qui la combla de bienfaits. André, seigneur de Tarnesieu, était agent général des affaires des maisons d'Ornano et de Montlaur-Maubec. Il était en outre gentilhomme ordinaire du duc d'Orléans. Jacques, chevalier, comte de Ferrières, seigneur de Beaucroissant et baron d'Arlempdes, avait épousé Virginie de Fléhard de Pressins, dame d'Arlempdes en Velay. Il obtint de Louis XIII, en juillet 1623, des lettres rétablissant les foires et marchés du lieu d'Arlempdes. Sa femme vendit cette terre le 6 décembre 1629 à Jean de Boffin. Des capitaines de cavalerie et chevaliers de St-Louis; un conseiller du parlement de Grenoble, etc. A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on reproduit ci-dessous et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique, l'assurance d'une valeur remarquable. Il est fort difficile, pour ne pas dire impossible, de réunir en faisceau toutes les tiges éparses de cette maison. ...
