Nobility crown ZanonAn ancient and very noble family originally from Kapodistria, where it has been present since the 14th century, moved to live in Vincenza at the dawn of the sixteenth century, joining that noble Council in 1510 and buried in Santa Corona, as shown by the valuable work “The Vicentine coat of arms described and illustrated” by Sebastiano Rumor. The origin of this cognominization must be found in the personal 'Giovanni', formerly 'Zuanne'. A branch of this same family then moved to live in Lombardy, more precisely in the city of Bergamo, where, however, it was transcribed as Zanoni.
