Nobility crown UccelloAntichissima famiglia di Cannobio, illustratasi con quel Domenico, famoso chirurgo dell'Ospedale maggiore di Milano, allievo ed amico del celebre Moscati, il quale lasciò 200 mila lire a pro dei poveri di Cannobio, grazie a cui fu fondata l'opera pia Uccelli, e morì in Milano nel 1803. Il Canonico Uccello, fratello del precedente, fondò e dotò la chiesa parrocchiale di Scoraggio nel 1792. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia, originaria della Romagna, la cui blasonatura è riportata dal commendator G.B. di Crollalanza, nei volumi del suo "Dizionario storico blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane". La famiglia levò per arme. Spaccato d'azzurro e di verde, ad un uccello d'argento movente dalla partizione ed afferrato da un artiglio d'avvoltoio alato posto in palo; col capo d'Angiò.
